The ring roller bearing is a single-row bearing with a long and slightly curved symmetrical roller and a circular ring raceway profile. CARB ring roller bearing is a non-locating bearing, which can only bear radial load. CARB bearings are usually used to replace the non-positioning spherical roller bearings in positioning/non-positioning bearings.
Features and advantages
Allowable misalignment
Like spherical roller bearing or self-aligning ball bearing, CARB bearing also has self-aligning ability.
Allowable radial displacement
Like cylindrical roller or needle roller bearings, CARB bearings can compensate for the thermal expansion of the shaft.
Multiple size series
CARB bearings have the same overall dimensions as corresponding spherical roller bearings, self-aligning ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings and needle roller bearings.
Long service life
The special roller profile can prevent the stress peak at the roller end.
Low friction
Self-guided rollers keep friction and friction heat at a low level.
Improved wear resistance
Low noise
For example, CARB bearings can reduce the noise and vibration level of paper machines, fans and other equipment.
Long service life of bearing system
CARB bearings are suitable for self-aligning bearing configurations. The CARB bearing is located at the non-positioning end and will not cause internal axial force, so it has the following advantages:
Lower load can prolong the service life of bearing.
The bearing has lower operating temperature, longer service life of lubricant and longer maintenance interval.
It can reduce noise and vibration levels.
CARB ring roller bearing is unique: it can not only bear misalignment without increasing the stress level, but also realize friction-free axial movement in the bearing at the floating end of the self-aligning bearing configuration. The rated speed of this fully loaded bearing is low, so as many rollers as possible can be loaded to make it bear the maximum rated load.
Can bear the misalignment and axial displacement in the bearing
High radial bearing capacity
Achieving friction-free axial displacement
Long service life of bearing
